PhD Program: PUKYONG NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Smart Structure engineering Lab (SSeL), Department of Ocean Engineering, Pukyong National University (PKNU) is looking for a highly motivated candidate enrolling the PhD program in March 1, 2022.



Research Areas

Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Damage Identification

Vibration-based SHM of Caisson Breakwaters and Wind Turbine Structures

Impedance-based SHM of Prestressed Anchorage Systems

Vision-based SHM of Structural Connections

Hybrid SHM using Multi-scale Sensing Techniques



Applicant Qualifications

Graduation from Faculty of Civil Engineering.

Grade Point Average (GPA) more than 3.0/4.0 or 7.5/10.0.

English certificate (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELST or equivalent test).



Coverage of the scholarship

Tuition fee (fully supported)

Living expenses (-$1000)
