1. Facile
covalent functionalization of carbon nanomaterials via Diels-Alder “Click” reaction
Ø A
facile and environmentally friendly strategy for grafting polymers onto the
surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes was demonstrated via Diels-Alder
“click chemistry under ultrasonic irradiation

eutectic solvents (DESs), a new type of cost-effective ionic liquid analogues,
are employed to develop a novel and efficient method for direct
functionalization of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and graphene via Diels-Alder
click reaction.

2. RESS and
RESOLV
Rapid expansion of supercritical CO2
solution into air (RESS) or to a liquid solvent (RESOLV) produces micro- or nano- sized particles. Peracetylated cyclodextrin(CD) and its inclusion complex
with drugs were prepared by using RESS and RESOLV.
